Following on from last week's announcement, the structured winter training programme is now open for entry.
Coaches: Steve Irish, Tim Rush and other regular class coaches
The cost is £280 per boat, you have to enter before Midnight on 25th October, after this date only individual training weekends are bookable at a higher price.
This is not 3 weekends of training, it is your opportunity to work through the winter with a group of sailors with similar ability on specific tasks and also test your skills in a larger group which will include Youth Squad.
The aim is to run small groups of 6 or less boats working on specific skills for part of each day with joint exercises for the whole fleet to test those skills. The final weekend at Datchet in January will be coached racing which is likely to begin with some starting drills and tuning followed by racing, with sailing instructions on the water judging and maybe even some prizes! The only difference to a normal racing weekend will be coaches on the course while you're racing

Setup (for those new to the class)
Boat handling
Technique
Speed
Starting
Decision making
If time allows we will look at basic boat maintenance and regatta prep.
