Winter Championships 2023 & Summer Teams Selector #1
The event is open to All Sailors but they need to be members of the Class in order to attend. There are 2 options for membership:
- Tempoary (£7.50) for one event per year
- Full until 31st August 2023 (£45)
Temporary memberships can be purchased on the event webpage; full membership can be obtained via the Class website.
2023 Team Selection
The 2023 Team Selection Polices have now been published on the Class website: https://gbr420.uk/events/selection-process/policy/
NEW any teams wishing to be considered for a place on the 2023 Junior Euros or Worlds Teams will be required to complete a Team Entry Form ahead of the first Selector Event taking place. Only teams who have completed a Team Entry Form will be considered for places.

IMPORTANT: The RYA has published it's 2023 Summer Team Policy. They have confirmed they will be supporting the Junior Europeans. Primary indicator for RYA Team will be Youth Nationals, Secondary indicator will Rutland.

Bow Numbers - UPDATED INFORMATION
It is important that all boats sail with the bow number that has been allocated to them by the Class. A list of allocated bow numbers is attached to the event page. Please ensure that you have checked your bow number before entry to the event and that this is used on your entry. Given that this is a Selection event and Bow numbers are used for results this is really important.
Boats sailing without the correct Bow Number may not be scored for those races.
NOTE: The Class will no longer supply bow numbers, these need to be purchased/obtained by the boat.

Measurement Certificates
At the Winter Championships all competing boats will be required to produce upon registration, both their World Sailing/ISAF Measurement Certificate and their valid RYA Measurement Certificate for inspection. If these could be in named folders that would be appreciated and will make this process a lot simpler. These will be returned to you later in the weekend. Digital copies will be accepted as long as these display all pages.
