Gill Xtremity British Nationals 2025

We have a fantastic venue for the 2025 Gill Xtremity British Nationals - Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club with a full 5 days planned on and off the water.

The sailing format will be:

NOTE: the entry price will include the following social package for all competitors

• Dinner x 4 evenings at the club

• Evening Social (Friday, Saturday and Sunday - Sailor Black Tie dinner)

The entry cost per boat is £345 and includes as follows:

Racing: £295 for 5 days

Social Package (mandatory): £50

Family Food

The club will be selling food for parents/siblings.  Once the menu is available we will add the details of how to purchase these.

Camping/Campervans

Camping and Camper pitches will be available at the club; more details of how to book and pay for this will be sent out at a later date but prices will be:

• 2 man tent = £7.50 per night

• Family tent = £10 per night

• Campers (hard standing - first come first served) = £12 per night

• Campers (not guaranteed hard standing) = £10 per night

Need a boat or crew?

The Nationals is a great opportunity for new sailors to take part in their first 420 event and we would lilke to encourage as many sailors to attend the event.  There are a number of members who have more than one boat and who may be willing to loan a boat for you to get involved.  

We are also aware that some sailors may not have a regular crew; we are more than happy to try and put sailors together to enable them to attend the event.

Bow Numbers: the Class uses bow numbers.  Bow numbers are allocated to helms and stay with them regardless of what boat they sail.   A list of the current allocated bow numbers is detailed in the event documents.  If you need a bow number, please contact the class admin, Sharon ([email protected]).

Class AGM: the Class will hold it's AGM on Saturday 24th August.  All roles on the Committee will come up for election and we encourage people to step forward to fill these roles.  More information will be sent out in the coming weeks about the roles on the committee but if you have any questions/ are interested in a role please reach out to the current committee member who will be more than happy to talk about the role with you.
