South Regional Training

The Class runs specific regional  training aimed at those transitioning into the Class.   You can sign up as an individual and then if your normal pairing is not available, we will do our best to get you sailing with someone else.  If you are not yet in a confirmed pairing please sign up and we will match you up with someone suitable.

A class boat will also be available to use if needed on a first come first served basis.  We may have a second boat available if required.

Coaching is provided by world Class 420 coaches, with on the water coaching, video debriefs, shore based sessions and racing. 

Where possible, for regional  groups the coach to sailor ratio is reduced to maximise time with coaches and learning. 

New sailors will be given help to rig the boats and learn the key skills that will help them develop

The Regional Class training for the South will take place at Bough Beech sailing Club and is lead by Tim Rush on the following dates:

Weekend 2: 19th & 20th Oct 2024

Weekend 3: 30th Nov & 1st Dec 2024

Weekend 4: 1st & 2nd Feb

Weekend 5: 15th & 16th Mar

Weekend 6: 5th & 6th April
