Vaikobi 420 Class Association British Nationals 2023

The Vaikobi Vaikobi | PFDs, Life Jackets, Paddle, Kayak and Sailing Gear British Nationals 2023 will be held over 3 days at Plas Heli (Pwllheli).   

The plan for the event is as follows:

• Event will be 3 days (Sat, Sun, Monday)
• Pre-Event Training ahead of the event.  There will be separate training for Transition Group and an option for 1 or 2 days training ahead of the event (Thurs, Fri).  Training should be booked separately to the event.  Please book early to avoid disappointment.
• The event will be used as part of the World Championship 2024 (in Brazil) Selection Process.  The Selection Policy will be published ahead of the event.  NOTE: any team wanting to be considered for the 2024 World Championships MUST complete the attached Team Entry Form by Monday 21st August 2023 link: https://forms.gle/HLRc36DzGry1r2KZA

On Shore

• On site campervans/camping will be available (this should be booked directly with Plas Heli via their website). 
• NOTE: Plas Heli have extended their camper/camping facilities in terms of hook ups. 
• NOTE: Plas Food has new caterers on site; we will be working with them to ensure that options are available for parents.

Social Activity

• The Epic Sailor Party is planned for Sunday evening;  this will be Black Tie.  NOTE: Entry to the Sailor Party is included in the entry cost for the event.  The ticket will include welcome drink, food and discos/kareoke.  
• Saturday night will be a sailor "Bingo" night; food option will be available separately; more details to follow from the Sailor Reps

Class Membership

To take part in class activities you need to be a member (either full or temporary).  The membership period for the class is 1st September to 31st August each year.  NOTE: 2023/24 membership is now open and will provide cover from 27th July 2023 to 31st August 2024.
